Hi babes! I have been DYING to share this post with all of you! If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I have promised some exciting new things coming to the blog. Well, all of that begins with Pinterest. I am stepping up my Pinterest game, and I can’t wait to connect with all of you on there! I am also beginning to revamp my posts. Think more how-to’s, where to’s, favorites, etc. I can’t wait for this new phase of VFB, and to kick it all off, I’m sharing what I believe is “The Perfect OTS Dress” with you.
For starters, “OTS” stands for “off the shoulder,” a style that is really trending this Spring/Summer. I am a huge fan of OTS tops and dresses because I feel that they are so flattering! My arms are something that I have been a little self-conscious about lately. I am really trying to get back into some healthy habits and lose a few pounds… hopefully in my arms and lower body (like I get to choose, ha) because I feel like both areas are something that I want to improve. So lately I haven’t been wearing many tanks or strapless pieces. Instead, I’ve been opting for tops and dresses with an off the shoulder or cold shoulder design.
RaeLynn’s Boutique sent me this dress and I cannot say enough good things about it. First, it’s red (which I love to wear), has a great floral print, and has an off the shoulder flounce. I got a lot of compliments when I wore it on Saturday, and I think part of that was because of the great fit. My hips are a little wider, but this dress came in just right at my waist and then flowed out, creating the perfect silhouette. I think it would look great on any figure, hence the title, “The Perfect OTS Dress!” When shopping at RaeLynn’s Boutique, you can use the code ‘savilla15’ for 15% off through the month of May.
And don’t forget to follow me on Pinterest. 😉
