Last weekend, Kelly, Ashley, and I all celebrated Galentines Day a little early. We planned a fun brunch to get together, take cute photos, and just enjoy each other’s company. I was so excited to meet Ashley and always love when Insta-friends become real-life friends. 🙂

Keep in mind that you can celebrate Galentine’s Day all month long, so maybe you spend the 14th with your significant other, and then get together on the 15th with your galentines for a midday brunch!

TIPS FOR A DIY GALENTINES DAY BRUNCH

Festive decor is a must. Your Valentine may not care about a cute balloon arch, but your Galentines will love it!

This exact one can be found here, but there are also a ton of cute options on Amazon. Kelly came in CLUTCH with this electric balloon pump. If you’re doing a balloon arch, you NEED this! The balloon arch kits come with everything you need and it really was a lot easier than I envisioned, just time consuming. *Pro Tip – assemble the balloon arch the NIGHT BEFORE your brunch.

Add a few more decor touches like balloons, flowers, a sequin table runner, etc. A few items can really bring the whole theme together.

Use disposable tableware & glasses for easy clean-up.

I found everything and Amazon and it looked great, was affordable, and we all loved the easy clean-up!

Decide on a menu that is cute, but most importantly, EASY for you!

As the host, you don’t want to be running around worrying about food. We were expecting another blogger friend, but she ended up being sick the morning of our brunch. But, even with only 3 girls, it was still a lot to get done. So, when it came to food, we kept it simple. We unrolled cinnamon rolls and re-rolled them into heart shapes. *Pro-Tip: Sprinkles add an extra dose of Galentines fun. We washed fruit and cut the strawberries into heart shapes. And finally, Kelly made an amazing sausage casserole that was super quick, easy, and delicious! She is going to share the recipe over on her blog if you want to check it out. Honestly, less is more! It’s all about the memories and time together any way.

Choose a cute outfit that makes you feel extra sassy.

Since it’s a little last minute, Amazon is your go-to for a cute Galentine’s Day look. I have this dress in a couple different colors (in both the short and long version) and I can’t say enough good things about it. It is the most flattering dress ever! Cannot recommend it enough!!
