COZY CHRISTMAS BEDROOM IDEAS

There are so many ways to achieve a cozy Christmas bedroom. I incorporated all 5 tips below, but even 1 or 2 will have your bedroom Christmas-ready!

1. Update your linens – We already had white bedding, so it was super easy to change out the white sheets to Christmas red. Everything you see in the photos (except the night stand) is from Old Time Pottery. They have great deals on bedding, sheets, pillows, and more!

2. Add fun Christmas pillows – It was so hard to narrow down my pillow choices. Old Time Pottery’s pillows are amazing this year! Don’t be afraid to mix and match. My rule of thumb is to have 1 coordinating color throughout. For my cozy Christmas bedroom, that color was red.

3. Hang wreaths above the bed – I only had room for two wreaths, but you could hang three if your bed is larger. Because this bed doesn’t have a headboard, I needed the wreaths to cover a large space (height wise). So, I used a roll of neutral ribbon from Old Time Pottery to hang them and this helped fill the space from the bed to the ceiling.

4. Add cozy lighting – Lighting can instantly up the cozy factor in a bedroom. I found this snowy house at Old Time Pottery that casts the perfect amount of cozy light. You could also add twinkle lights to the wreaths above your bed, or even a lighted garland over the bed or around the door frame.

5. Put up a Christmas Tree – A Christmas tree makes for the ultimate cozy Christmas bedroom! There is nothing like falling asleep to glow of Christmas lights. Old Time Pottery has a great selection of Christmas trees, and we were able to find the perfect one for our guest bedroom. They also have a TON of ornaments. There are ornaments for any theme you have you mind, and so many different color options.

Do you decorate your bedroom for Christmas? If so, what’s your theme or color scheme? I need ideas for our master bedroom for next year! 😉
